Webinar The New Normal in Hyper Acute Stroke Care Focus on Telestroke & trombolysis
Stroke is the number one cause of mortality and morbidity in Indonesia. It requires rapid and comprehensive treatment to overcome those challenges. Covid-19 pandemic create even greater challenges in stroke management in Indonesia. Covid-19 screening in acute stroke patients requires in longer door to needle time for patients to do thrombolysis or thrombectomy. While direct interaction including healthcare professional such as neurologists and stroke patients has limited access to avoid the risk of Covid-19 transmission. One of the approach that could be utilized to overcome this problem is telestroke implementation.
